Aberdeen’s inaugural Porchfest will be on Saturday, May 16, from 1:00–4:00 pm along historic W. Bel Air Avenue area from the B&O Train Station to about Ray Avenue. PorchFest is a community music festival where musicians perform on neighborhood porches, lawns, driveways, or other outdoor spots — and audiences stroll from house to house to enjoy live music. It’s free and family-friendly, and it celebrates local talent and community spirit rather than big commercial acts. Homeowners volunteer their porches as mini-stages, and local performers sign up to play short sets throughout the day. The idea started in Ithaca, New York, in 2007, and has since spread to hundreds of towns and cities across the U.S. and Canada. Contact [email protected] with questions. Kick off the 2026 Aberdeen IronBirds season at Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium! Join thousands of fans for the first home game of the year, featuring pre-game festivities, giveaways, and all the excitement of professional baseball in Cal Ripken Jr.'s hometown. Doors open 90 minutes before first pitch.

Tower Rocks brings two days of live music to Festival Park with day one featuring the main lineup and day two built around the band contest. Ten bands, a full weekend, and plenty of room to hang out, grab a beer, and make a day of it. Day 1: The first day features Pretty War, Carey Ziegler’s Expensive Hobby, Atomic Light Orchestra (ALO), Pineapple Band, and Mad Decent. Day 2: The second day features the band contest, with participating bands still to be announced.
